“To sleep, perchance to dream, yes, but what does the dream DREAM? There is a long lost soliloquy that only the SHADOW knows!”

B is lying on his back, his shadow cast on the wall behind him sitting up. B speaks, (Cut off by the panel border) “…ten…easier…to overpower…than to cultivate your humanity!”

B is still lying down, while his shadow looks down at him. B says, (Cut off by the panel border) “My knowledge of the world would blind your piti—“

B is lying down; his shadow starts running away. B says, “Uh—“

“Wait—“

B is lying down, shadowless: “Wait! Come back! Bring me something…”

B’s shadow returns and touches B’s eyes, now closed. B says, “Yes, like that—my eyelids, ahh…let me sleep”
