Hold Still Episode 53

2. Enzo is sitting on the floor with his bath to the wall and knees up. He is wearing a covid mask, a graphic tee, skinny jeans, and sneakers. He is using his phone on his lap. “November 15. Class was very interesting today. Made coconut curry when I finally got home.”
3. Kim is lounging in a chaise sofa, sitting up against the back cushion. She is wearing a checkered blanket, on top of which sits her cat. She is touching her face with her index finger as if faking a tear. “November 16. Worked. There was a gardening talk at the library of which I saw a part. Zoom class after, CEP film projects are starting.”
4. Kim’s mom is standing and watching over a young kid who is sitting on top of a cabinet, holding something up to the ceiling. A smaller kid is running around in the foreground. There are five framed pictures hanging on the wall. “November 17. Worked on civic engagement paper before work. Finally saw Mom afterwards [heart].”

Kim’s hand holds a little flower; in front of her is a sheet of paper covered with other little flowers of different types. Next to it is a pair of small shears. “December 21. Collected flowers for Mom’s gift. Cleaned, worked, readied, cooked.”

Kim is crouching over the large pile of mulch, which is giving off steam. “December 14. Land remediation talk after work. Mulch pile is smoking :)”
