Derek brags of thrifty strategies to keep hunger at bay, like huffing gas or fishing for coins dropped below drive-thru windows. Dressed like Uncle Sam, he proclaims: "Resourceful is an understatement! Bootstraps baby!" In his regular clothes but wearing a crown, he rolls around a giant cup of ramen, saying, "Not to brag, but I live like a king!"
