Panel 1:
Above a drawing of a woman and a man in a white, four-door sedan is the question, “What was the most recent long-fall survival incident?” Below the text reads, “In December of 2022, a young couple survived a 300-foot fall when their car plunged over a cliff.”
Panel 2:
At the left on a light gray background drawn to resemble a rocky hillside are the words, “They had pulled over to let an impatient driver pass them. When they tried to get back on the road they hit some gravel, lost control, and went over the cliff.” To the right of this text is a drawing on a dark background of their car falling nose-first toward the bottom of the cliff.
Panel 3:
On a light gray background at the left of the panel, are the words, “The car hit some trees and landed upside down in the canyon. The two survived with no major injuries.” In the illustration, the car is at the bottom of the cliff on its roof with one wheel off on the ground and one door open. It is surrounded by rocks and stunted trees.
Panel 4:
In this panel the woman and man have exited the car and are standing side-by-side. The woman has her left arm around the man, who looks down nervously at the cell phone in his hand. The text to their right reads, “They used a cell phone to call for help and were rescued before very long.”
